Glenn: it is a pleasure to support your Substack at the $150 level. I’ve been an Instapundit reader since early 2002 and it’s always the first site I check out in the morning.

Plus, you have been a kind supporter via Insty PR of some of my various projects over the years (the “Ball of Whacks,” “A Whack on the Side of the Head,” and “The Creative Contrarian,” among others). For that, I’m quite appreciative!

Hey, after reading Instapundit for many many years, and donating for fewer years, I finally get the opportunity to comment. You are always the first place I look for news in the morning, and about the last place in the evening ( along with Ace's ONT ). Anyway, I don't have much to say other than thanks for this article and all the thousands of others I have read over the years.

Hello, and I'm happy to be a subscriber. Thanks for giving us this more detailed look at what Prof. Perry is doing. I had heard about him before but knew very little. Since I have a little time on my hands, I may just poke around a few PA college-university websites to see if I can find anything that is illegal. Have a happy, healthy and prosperous 2023!

"As Secretary of Education, I am committed to ensuring Title IX works for all students and provides equal access to opportunities that will enrich students’ educational experiences and their futures."

I am heartened to see that the administration is not entirely lawless and is at least acknowledging the legal reality here. This will be an important point to keep an eye on as Professor Perry's efforts continue, and hopefully, are taken up by others as well.

Thank you Glenn. The in-depth format is excellent, and especially now for this topic. It is rewarding to hear how successful Mark has been, and to understand how to support - and to leverage - his efforts for greater penetration and lasting impact. Good topic selection, well worth the read.

I really really hope there are more lawsuits against the illegal discrimination.

But the real problem in colleges is Demonization. Of Trump, of MAGA Republicans, of all Republicans.

Not Derangement, neither TDS nor BDS, but the K-12 frequent, almost constant insinuation that Republicans are evil by the colleges.

The most important diversity in our politically polarized country is political diversity. No tax exempt org should have less than 30% Republicans on their staff - meaning Professors for colleges, and Administrators.

Lack of Republicans should be seen as evidence of prior non-criminal discrimination - but such that tax exemptions, and Fed Loan guarantees, and Fed research grants should be ended.

I'm so glad to finally donate some cash directly to Glenn - I've been reading Instapundit for years, decades! (two!).

Is there a practice building opportunity here for an enterprising young litigator/trial lawyer?

I hope you find some conservative professors who have been harmed by the illegal discrimination and start lawsuits against it.

As a reader of instapundit for many years I am glad to see you with a Substack. This will probably let you do more long form that are not NY Post (which are great but limited in topic options) and law review (same problem). Maybe more space, cooking, guns and diving. As well as interesting articles like this one. Good luck and congrats.

Funny, that’s exactly when I found him - from Little Green Footballs of all places. Hoping for some interesting discussions here in addition to the interesting posts.

Thanks so much! I'm not planning to make it a group project like the blog, as I see it more as an adjunct to/possible partial replacement for my newspaper columns. But it's early days yet.
