Birthday cheer, revisited

So a year ago I wrote about the birthday celebration for my friend Ben Barton’s father Bill, who turned 80 and celebrated by putting on a show at Knoxville’s Jig & Reel. (A Scottish bar featuring 1000+ kinds of mostly Scotch whiskey and a first-rate Steak & Ale pie, plus a stage.)
